Tess was born in London and studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, the University of Nottingham and London School of Contemporary Dance.

Educational Establishments Tess has worked with include Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music.

Future engagements include Cole Porter's Kiss Me Kate for Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg.
