Tim Oliver began his lighting career in London’s West End working on the hit musicals Cats at the New London Theatre and then The King and I at the London Palladium before returning to Cats until it’s closure in 2002. Tim then joined Walt Disney Theatricals Beauty and the Beast International Tour and continued to tour the UK with musicals Blood Brothers and Tell Me On a Sunday.
In 2004 Tim branched out into concerts and events, working with Keane, Massive Attack, Tinie Tempah, The Beautiful South, Snow Patrol, Peter Kay and Robbie Williams.
Tim is now a lighting programmer and designer. Credits as a programmer include: Whistle Down the Wind (UK Tour), Laughter in the Rain (UK Tour), Peter Kay ‘The Tour that doesn’t Tour Tour’ , Peter Kay DVD Shoot ‘The Tour that didn’t Tour Tour’ (O2 Arena London), Jekyll and Hyde (UK Tour), Rock n Roll Heaven (UK Tour), Scrooge the Musical (West end and UK Tours), X Factor Live tours 2012 and 2013, Carnaby Street the Musical (Hackney Empire), Evita (UK Tour), Laureas Sports Awards (Rio, Brazil), Starlight Express (UK Tour), Jesus Christ Superstar (UK Tour), S Club 7 (UK Tour) and Glen Miller Story (UK Tour).
