Jonny is a Scottish Resident Director and Choreographer working throughout the UK and abroad. Based between Glasgow and London, Jonny has a keen eye for detail and excellent rapport.

Credits as Associate Director and Choreographer include: Lazytown Live (West End and UK Tour), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells).

Credits as Associate Choreographer include: The Sound of Music (two International Tours and Australian National Tour), Snoopy! the Musical (West End).

As Associate Director: Annie (New Zealand Tour).

As Resident Director: The Sound of Music (two International Tours and Australian National Tour), The Bodyguard: The Musical (China Tour).

As Resident Children’s Director: The Sound Of Music (UK Tours), Kooza (Cirque du Soleil), Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Coppélia (all Birmingham Royal Ballet, UK Tours) and many more.

His choreography credits include Jolson & Co The Musical (UK Tour), Disney in Concert (UK Tour), Saturday Night Takeaway, Q.I., Children in Need, The Pespi Chart Show and The Brit Awards.

Pantomime Director and Choreographer credits include: Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Belfast Grand Opera House) and Robin Hood (Nottingham Theatre Royal) in 2021, both for Crossroads Live, as well as previous productions at Birmingham Hippodrome, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Llandudno Venue Cymru, Dartford Orchard Theatre, Theatre Royal Nottingham, Cardiff New Theatre, Wolverhampton Grand, Northampton Derngate, Southampton Mayflower for Qdos Entertainment and Kings Theatre Glasgow for First Family Entertainment.

In 2019/2020 Jonny was part of the creative directing team at the Venice Film Festival and London Film Festival, winning the Spirit of Raindance London award.
