
Alisa Kalyanova
Set and Costume Designer
Alisa is a Russian born theatre designer based in Glasgow. She studied Visual Communication at the Iceland University of the Arts in Reykjavik before training in Set and Costume Design at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. Upon graduation she received The John Groves Technical Award for overall achievement. She is an Associate Artist at Brite Theatre company and a frequent creative collaborator with Wonder Fools.
Recent theatre credits include Perkin Warbeck: A Masque of Anamnesis (Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow), Meet Jan Black, The Scunner That Stole Christmas (The Gaiety Theatre, Ayr), Deliverance (as creative collaborator, Brite Theatre and Vanishing point), The Mistress Contract (Tron Theatre, Glasgow), The Lost Elves, Lampedusa, Humbug! (Citizens Theatre, Glasgow), The Trojans (Platform, Glasgow and Edinburgh Fringe), The Merry Widow (Opera Bohemia - 18 venue tour across Scotland).
