Katy Richardson

Musical Director

Katy is a proactive and innovative musical director with a broad knowledge of music and musical theatre, and a proven ability to produce results. Katy graduated from the University of Leeds in 2014 with a First in Music before training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

Katy is currently working as musical director for five times Olivier nominated SIX the musical produced by Kenny Wax Ltd, playing at the Arts Theatre, West End.

SIX received 5 2019 Olivier Award Nominations including Best New Musical and Outstanding Achievement in Music. SIX was also awarded ‘Best Off-West End Production’ at the 2019 What’s On Stage Awards. National Student Drama Festival Judges’ Award for Musical Direction Musical Supervisor and Musical Director for winner of ‘Search for a Twitter Composer.'
