Katy Richardson
Musical Director, Musical Supervisor & Arranger
Katy Richardson is a Music Supervisor, Musical Director, Associate Music Producer, Composer and Arranger. Katy is the musical director for the upcoming production of Death Note the musical at the Barbican, and Musical Supervisor for the anticipated 2026 non-replica production of High School Musical. She is currently the associate music producer for Strictly Come Dancing, and both an original creative team member and the UK musical supervisor for SIX the musical. Additionally, she has recently played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Broadway Sinfonietta. Katy is a What’s On Stage Award nominated Musical Director, Musical Supervisor, Music Producer and Arranger with a broad knowledge of music and musical theatre, and a proven ability to produce results.

Shucked was nominated for two 2026 Olivier Awards including ‘Best New Musical’.
Bonnie & Clyde won ‘Best New Musical’ at the 2023 What’s On Stage Awards.
SIX won two 2022 Tony Awards (with eight nominations in total), and five 2019 Olivier Award Nominations.
