Mark-Eugene Garcia is a Mexican/Honduran playwright and a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and A.S.C.A.P. He is a graduate of the City College of New York and studiedlibretto and lyric writing with the Academy of New Musical Theatre and the BMI Lehman Engle Musical Theatre Writing Workshop.

Mark-Eugene has an extensive performing career, including reuniting with his high school friends in the Original Cast of ENCORE! on ABC with Kristen Bell, starring in Encore's Pilot Episode of Into the Woods, and playing Detective Mark Besim on Sidekick Productions'  DEMON DOCTOR. He also has recurring roles as Simon on SKELETON CREW and Skylar in THE ART OF BLOWING IT.

His stage journey spans from New York to California, with notable roles in productions like INTO THE WOODS (The Baker, ABC Television), THE UNDERPANTS GODOT (Mark), and A STRANGE AND SEPARATE PEOPLE (Jay Berman). Mark-Eugene has contributed as a dramaturg with the New York Musical Theatre Festival and worked with productions such as "TEMPLE OF THE SOULS," "EMOJILAND," "ILLUMINATI LIZARDS FROM OUTER SPACE," and "KAFKA'S METAMORPHOSIS."

In addition to his performing career, he is part of the Management Team of The Drama Bookshop and co-hosts THE DRAMA BOOK SHOW! on the Broadway Podcast Network.

As a Dramaturg, Mark has collaborated with The New York Musical Festival on the productions of TEMPLE OF THE SOULS, EMOJILAND, KAFKA'S METAMORPHOSIS, and ILLUMINATI LIZARDS FROM OUTER SPACE. He has also collaborated with the Fresh Fruit Festival with PARTITIME
