Miguel Esteban is a London based Canadian Musical Director, who is currently Assistant Musical Director for Hamilton (UK & Ireland Tour). Recently, Miguel was Assistant Musical Director on the world premiere of Figaro (The London Palladium) and The Red Shoes (Royal Shakespeare Company). Further theatre credits include Coven (Music Transcriptions, Kiln Theatre), Fountain of You (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Beauty and the Beast (Young Cast MD, The Byre Theatre), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Keys 1/deputy MD, Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Sweeney Todd, Urinetown, Earthquakes in London (MD, RCS), The Spongebob Musical, Peter Pan the Musical, Cinderella Stepsisters’ Revenge: A Panto (MD, Regent Theatre, Canada), Descendants, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Putting It Together and Seussical (MD, Oshawa Little Theatre, Canada). He is a recent graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) with a Master’s in Musical Directing. He also has a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance and a Master of Teaching, both with High Distinction from the University of Toronto. Miguel has also taught at Urdang and The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
