Steve is a passionate and experienced Musical Director and Conductor, having worked extensively in London’s West End over the last 17 years, as well as touring round the UK and abroad. His commitment to excellence and creativity has made him a highly respected figure in the West End. Steve is thrilled to be conducting Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds - The Musical, Live, the concert experience (UK Tour) later this year. Featuring Jeff Wayne’s Iconic score, Orchestra, Band, Cast and Video. Steve will be returning to Loseley Park this summer, to conduct The Bourne Orchestra for Musicals Under The Stars. This stunning orchestra will be joined by a sensational “all star” cast of West End performers.
Last year, Steve was Musical Advisor and Associate Musical Supervisor for Cameron Mackintosh, overseeing all 11 productions of the Let the People Sing: Les Misérables 40th Anniversary UK project, culminating in the Royal Variety Performance in London, at the Royal Albert Hall.

Steve is the Conductor and Musical Director of The Bourne Orchestra. Upcoming Steve will be conducting Musicals Under The Stars in August, live at Loseley. This dazzling orchestra has previously worked alongside Il Volvo, Tokio Myers, Lemar, Leona Lewis, Sarah Brightman, Lucie Silvas, Alison Moyet, Rita Ora and Estelle, as well as specialising in live film music & musical theatre. The orchestra has performed all over Europe, including recent trips to Amsterdam, Nice and Sicily.
Steve is also a regular guest Conductor and Musical Director at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Mountview Theatre Academy and Emil Dale Academy. Steve has been Musical Director for many Theatre Academy productions, including: Carrie the Musical, Mary Poppins, Damn Yankees, Cabaret, Pippin, Into the Woods, West Side Story, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Addams Family and Cabaret.
