Charlie Turner (Music & Lyrics) is a songwriter who works with a wide range of artists including X Factor winner Shayne Ward and other award-winning writers. Most recently, her song ‘Battlefield’ was the first single for Kerry Ellis ft Sir Brian May from Kerry’s album ‘Kings and Queens’. Charlie is also a member of Mercury Musical Developments’ Advanced Writers Lab I.

 

Liv Warden (Book) trained at the Soho Theatre Writers Lab and the National Theatre's Playwriting Course, where she developed her debut play, Anomaly (The Old Red Lion Theatre). Following its London run in 2019, the play was named one of The Spectator’s top shows of the year and went on to be staged internationally as Anomalía (Teatro La Escena) in Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2021, Liv was selected for the prestigious Channel 4 Screenwriting Mentorship Scheme.

Turner & Warden made their musical theatre debut in 2019 with Gretel! A New Musical (The Other Palace). The show was later developed into The Clockwatcher in collaboration with Mayflower Studios, Southampton. Their latest work, Lightning Boy, was selected from over 40 submissions by the National Youth Music Theatre to be workshopped as part of its 2024 Summer Season—and will make its World Premiere at the Birmingham Hippodrome in August 2025.
